This Privacy Policy discloses the online privacy practices for Stratolaunch and its affiliates (collectively, “Stratolaunch”) and applies to the information we collect through www.stratolaunch.com (the “Site”). This privacy notice affects all visitors, users, and residents (“consumers” or “you”) of the State of California. Stratolaunch reserves the right, at any time, to modify, alter, update, or remove portions of this Privacy Policy. We will post any changes to this Policy on this page so you can readily review the most current version. We will alert you that changes have been made by indicating on the bottom of this Privacy Policy the date it was last updated.

Your IP Address

An Internet Protocol (IP) address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer every time you browse the Internet. When a user requests a page from the Site, our servers log the user’s current IP address. We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our servers and to administer the Site.

Cookies

The Site is developed using Active Server Pages (ASP), and we use per-session “cookies” (pieces of data your browser stores in your computer’s memory at Stratolaunch’s request) to establish user sessions on our server. We use the cookies to carry information about usage from page to page through the Site. Stratolaunch does not use cookies to retrieve personal information about you from your computer.

Use of Personal Information

We may use or disclose the personal information we collect for one or more of the following business purposes:
Stratolaunch will also disclose Submission Information when it believes, in its sole discretion, that the law requires such disclosure or that such disclosure is necessary to:

  • To fulfill or meet the reason you provided us with the information. (For example, if you share your name and contact information to request a quote or ask a question about our products or services, we will use that personal information to respond to your inquiry.)
  • To process and fulfill orders and payments, including account creation and maintenance, and tracking of your order(s).
  • To provide customer support, including responding to your inquiries and application requirements.

Stratolaunch will not collect additional categories of personal information or use the personal information we collected for a materially different, unrelated, or purpose incompatible with the CPRA without providing you notice.

How Stratolaunch Shares Your Personal Information

In the preceding twelve months, Stratolaunch may have disclosed your personal information for a business purpose to companies who work on behalf of Stratolaunch, including other related Stratolaunch entities, and third party service providers, in order to provide a product or service to you.

  • We may share personal information within Stratolaunch, or with other Stratolaunch entities world-wide, for the purposes outlined within this policy.
  • We may share personal information with service providers who are providing payment processing, data analytics, database hosting and maintenance, and client support and services. Stratolaunch ensures that these service providers are contractually obligated to protect the information shared with them, and they are restricted from disclosing the data except as necessary to perform the services for which they are under contract.

The Right to Access Your Personal Information

You have the right to request and obtain from Stratolaunch the type of personal information we have collected, used and shared about you, in the 12 months preceding your request, and why we collected, used and shared that information. You have the right to make this request twice within a 12-month period. Once we receive and verify request, we will disclose to you:

  • The categories of personal information Stratolaunch collected
  • The specific pieces of personal information Stratolaunch collected
  • The categories of sources from which Stratolaunch collected personal information
  • The purposes for which Stratolaunch uses personal information
  • The categories of third parties with whom Stratolaunch shares the personal information

The Right to Correct

Should you find any inaccuracies in relation to your Personal Information, you may contact us to correct such information. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will correct (and direct our service providers to also update) your Personal Information in our records. 

The Right to Delete

You also have the right to request the deletion of your personal information that has been collected and retained in the past 12 months, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and verify your request, we will delete your personal information from our files. We will also direct our third party service providers to delete your personal information. In certain situations, Stratolaunch may deny your deletion request for one of the following reasons:

  • We are unable to verify your request (as required by the CPRA).
  • We need your personal information to complete your transaction, provide a reasonably anticipated product or service, or for certain warranty and product recall purposes.
  • We need your personal information for certain business security practices.
  • We need your personal information for certain internal uses that are compatible with reasonable consumer expectations or the context in which the information was originally provided.
  • We need your personal information to comply with a legal obligation, exercise legal claims or rights, or defend legal claims.
  • If the personal information is certain medical information, consumer credit reporting information, or other types of information exempt from the CPRA.

The Right to Not Be Discriminated Against

Stratolaunch will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CPRA defined rights. Unless permitted by the CPRA, we will not:

  • Deny you goods or services.
  • Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties.
  • Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services.
  • Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.

Exercising Your Rights by Submitting a Request

To exercise your right to know, access, and delete your personal information, please submit a verifiable request to us as follows:

We will respond to your request within 45 calendar days of its receipt. If we need to extend this response time frame, by up to an additional 45 days, we will provide you with notice. Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.

You may make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. The verifiable consumer request must:

  • Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.
  • Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

Verification of Your Identity

  • Stratolaunch cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information unless we can verify your identity, per CPRA guidelines. We may need to ask you for additional information for verification purposes exclusively.

Other California Privacy Rights

California’s Shine the Light law

Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (California’s Shine the Light law), California residents with an established business relationship with us can request information once a year about sharing their personal information with third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. “Do Not Track” Disclosure as Required by California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)

Stratolaunch does not track its customers over time and across third party websites to provide advertising, and therefore, does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. However, some third-party websites do keep track of your browsing activities. If you are visiting such websites, you can set your preferences in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked. You can enable or disable DNT by visiting the preferences or settings page of your web browser.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

Stratolaunch reserves the right to amend this privacy policy at our discretion and at any time. When we make changes to this privacy policy, we will post the updated notice on the website and update the policy’s effective date. Your continued use of our website following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
